How do I book?

Easy! Just go to the Sessions page, and click "Book Now" in the category you'd like. This should open up a draft in your email with a pre-set subject line for that category. Just type what you're looking for, and click send!

Are you strict on your session time limits?

For the most part, yes. Especially if there are back to back sessions. I do try to leave enough room in between, but we all know anything can happen. Should something occur to cut the time short, I guarantee to make it up at no charge, but only for the time remaining from the original shoot and reserved within 3 weeks of that shoot. So, if a shoot is 90 minutes, and we only get 45 in, we can reschedule for the remaining 45 minutes. As far as session running too long, it's nothing to worry about if it's only 10 or even 15 minutes. However, please make sure to have everything you need for the time to go smoothly. Sessionss running too long become unfair for the next reservation.

If the session runs short, is that time refunded?

The short answer is no, if enough pictures have been taken to provide the final images. Pricing not only reflects time on site, but my time in preparing the final product for you. If a session is cut short due to an emergency or weather, you have the option to reschedule at no cost within 3 weeks of the original shoot date. After 3 weeks, just the initial deposit amount will be required again.

What if during a Pet Session, my pet isn't behaving?

Animals have as many moods as we do. I completely understand if a pet just isn't feeling up to being social with a stranger. I love animals and always try to make sure they're comfortable with me, but if your pet just won't cooperate, we can reschedule at no cost. However, if the pet is aggressive or poorly trained, the session may be cancelled with only a partial, or no refund. I apologize for this, but if the owner cannot control the animal, I have to look out for myself and my equipment.

Why is a waiver required for a pet session? My pet won't do anything to anyone.

Not only can the pet act differently with a stranger, the waiver covers more than just potential injury to myself or anyone on site. The waiver also covers situations such as if the pet runs off, or if toys or treats are brought. I am very comfortable around almost any creature, but the fact is we live in a world of liability. As much as I care for animals, I will not be bringing anything for them (such as treats, toys, leashes, carriers) other than my camera, and the waiver is to acknowledge that. I appreciate any understanding!

How far in advance do I need to book?

Right now, I prefer sessions are booked at least 2 weeks in advance, and up to 4 months ahead. If traveling out of state is required, then booking is required anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 months in advance.

Does the time limit include travel?

No. The session starts at the agreed upon time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, then it starts to cut into the session time and this cannot be rescheduled. Please try to be on time.

Do you travel out of state?

I love it, actually. Currently, travel out of state is limited, though not out of the question. Just send me an email with where you are and what you want, and we will work something out. If you are in the Los Angeles area, I am there at least once a year and if a shoot is booked during that time, there would be no travel charge. If you are within Tennessee, the travel charges are $25 for an hour from Gallatin, one-way, and $100 if 2 hours or more, one-way. Farther distances, including out of state, will need to be discussed, as previously stated, though are not out of the question.

Payment

How can I pay?

When a session is booked, I will send an invoice via PayPal. This invoice can accept any card, so don't worry if you don't have a PayPal account!

Do you take cash?

I try not to, but it can be arranged if this is needed. I understand many people still prefer to exchange hard currency as opposed to online. The full amount must still be paid before the session, though.

I don't have the down payment; can I make smaller payments?

I'm aware not everyone can have the amount right away, but still prefer you have at least 50% up front. If this really is not possible, payments can be arranged. Regardless, the full amount is still due by the time of the session, so please keep this in mind if you would like to book something.

Do you have gift cards?

I currently do not have physical cards, but if you would like to purchase a session for someone, just follow the steps to book as usual, and I will note in the invoice that it is a gift.
*Note: Gift balances are only good for 6 months from the time of purchase.

After the Session

How soon will I receive my pictures?

You can expect your pictures within 3 to 5 business days from the session. If there are any delays whatsoever, I will be sure to communicate this clearly with you.

How will I receive my pictures?

All images will be delivered on a customized USB drive. These drives will be delivered by mail to you. If you ordered prints, this can take a little longer, and will depend on when you ordered them.

Can I print my own pictures?

The file size you receive will not be a high enough resolution for a good print. At this time it is $50 per image to purchase the copyrights for your own prints.

How do I order prints?

If you know right away which images you would like printed, let me know, and I should be able to deliver the prints along with the USB. I will still send a new invoice for the prints, though. If you can't decide right away, there's no rush. Just send me an email when you do decide, and I will send a new invoice at that time. In both instances, payment is required in full for prints to be ordered.

How much are prints?

The most common sizes are as follows:

4x6 - $10 for 10

5x7 - $15 for 10

8x10 - $25

11x14 - $35

Do I get a discount if I order more prints?

There is a 30% discount if you order 3 or more of the larger sizes. So for just 3 prints in 8x10 or 11x14, $75 would be $52.50, and $105 would be $73.50, respectively. Note: This discount is only good for prints ordered from a session. This discount does not apply to prints ordered from the store, unless otherwise promoted.
